8 Fundamental Subjects sa Curriculum ng Pag-Ibig

There are two types of knowledge we learn throughout life: acquired and earned. The first one is the knowledge we acquire from school and the second one is the knowledge we earn from real life experiences.

So what's more useful and important? Undeniably, school is a great place to learn, it teaches us the basic knowledge we can use in preparation for life. BUT, it teaches no more than half of what we can learn and use in the 'real' world. There is no contrived lesson that can ever replace a real world experience. Particularly in love, there's no perfect formula taught in school on how to deal about real-world relationship problems.

As for me, I always try to keep everything in balance, so I keep important lessons I've acquired from school and use it hand in hand with the ones I've earned from experience in dealing with life and love.

I'm no expert on this but I've curated a love curriculum adapted from subjects taught in school that may help anyone deal with real-world love issues.

8 Fundamental Subjects sa Curriculum ng Pag-Ibig

1. LANGUAGE

Kung hindi mo sasabihin, hindi niya malalaman.

We are innately wired to love others. But how can we connect to them if we're afraid to express ourselves? We are given the gift of language to express ourselves, it comes in different forms so huwag nating sayangin, we must learn not to be afraid to express love.

2. MATHEMATICS

Sa larangan ng Pag-ibig, there's no need to go as far as studying advanced mathematics like Integral and Differenctial Calculus. Hearts grow fonder when we add surprises, subtract drama, multiply appreciation and always give undivided attention to the ones we love.

3. CHEMISTRY

Truth is, you either have Chemistry or you don't. You can not force Love to someone who doesn't love you. Kahit anong pilit, kung walang attraction, walang magiging reaction.

4. HISTORY

"Let bygones, be bygones". Don't get fixated in the past because there's absolutely no point in wallowing in it. Always be mindful of the present. Today is what matters most.

5. SOCIAL STUDIES

Be open-minded and respect individuality.

6. P.E.

Love is to be demonstrated. Ang love, parang PE subject, it's not all about theories, kelangang isagawa.

7. MUSIC

Love is like playing music, you must learn the dynamics first, pero mas epektibo if you play from the heart.

8. RECESS

Lastly, students' all time favorite, break time.

In retrospect, school may have not given us formal guidance when it comes to dealing with love but it surely taught us lessons that we can apply and relate in handling the complexities of real-world relationships. I hope you've learned some!

Now it's your turn! Do you have something to add to the list? Leave a comment and share your insights!
